Language Proficiency Assessment Test

Allows you as an employer to instantly determine whether a candidate is suit for a position, or as an individual to determine your level of proficiency in the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Testing available in the following languages:

Higher education institutions also benefit from this service, which accurately verifies whether an enrolling international student possesses the English proficiency necessary to start a degree program. A letter of verification of the student´s English proficiency level issued by Lingua Language Center is used by many US colleges and universities in lieu of the TOEFL test. Grading scale is as follows:

• A - Excellent - is consistently proficient - 90 - 100 points          
• B - Above Average - is progressing toward proficiency - 80 – 89 points
• C - Average - needs more practice and experience - 70 - 79 points
• D - Below Average - minimum proficiency - 60 – 69 points
• F - Fail - N/A - 59 or less

To take the proficiency assessment test below, please follow these instructions. First, you must contact us to recieve your confidential password to access the audio portion of the test. You can contact us by e-mail or by phone. One you have received your password, you will need to click on the bold test link to start the written part of you test. When you are ready to start the audio, you must click on the corresponding link on this page to gain access to the audio file. One you enter the password, your audio should start. You will then need to follow along with the written part of the test.
